U14 Boys at Afrims Holiday Tournament

Congratulations to the Boys U14 team for a strong second place finish in the Afrim’s Holiday Tournament! The boys made their own roster and played in the first division tying or beating teams from Alleycats, Rotterdam and Plattsburg! Finishing as the 3^rd seed, they advanced to the finals after defeating a very skilled and athletic Plattsburg team 2-1. Their skill, determination and enthusiasm should make all the players, parents, coaches and trainers very proud! They are excellent representatives of our Club.

Abby Wambach paid us a visit, showed us some stuff and we all had a grand time. Thanks to MVP for sponsoring the event and the Siena Saints soccer team for lending a hand.

UPDATES TO YOUTH ACADEMY SCHEDULE

Spring 2012 Registration is now OPEN

Spring 2012 Recreation registration is now open

Registration for the spring 2012 season is now open. Players must have been born prior to December 1, 2007 for the Pre-K division. For policies, season calendar and other information please see details here or under the heading 'Recreation', above. To register please go to the registration system (click mouse here) . Any further questions, please mail the recreation program coordinator at cleansheet_bsc@msn.com.

U8 Session 2 League Soccer

If your son or daughter is interested in playing indoor session II (January-February on Saturdays from noon to around 3:00pm) please call 439-8859 or email Art Scheuermann at ascheuer@nycap.rr.com. Art will coach the second session with possible parent help. There is also a third indoor session (March-April).

In addition, if your child would like to compete in a high level of competition this season either instead of or in conjunction with Recreation please let Art know that too. There is a registration system on the Junior Academy page.

Additional U12 training sessions

U-12 Girls and Boys are invited to additional (and optional) training on SUNDAYs- with alternating times each week of 3:30 – 5:00pm, or 5:45-7:15pm. See the BSC Calendar for details. All Sunday sessions will be at Afrim’s Latham Dome.

This is a great opportunity for U12 players to improve their technical skills under the direction of professional Youth Academy coaches. The fee for the additional indoor training sessions is $200 (not included in Jr. Academy fee), and they will run on Sundays from December 18 through March 25, with breaks during the school holidays (11 sessions in total).

Youth Academy Registration is NOW OPEN

The Youth Academy (U13-U18) is NOW OPEN! Click HERE to register. Register by October 15, 2011 to avoid a $100 late registration fee.
