Youth Academy Importable Schedules

Below we have provided "ICS" calendaring files which you can import into your favorite calendaring program (Outlook, iCal, Google, Yahoo, etc.) or directly into your smartphone (iPad, iPhone, Android or to your Blackberry (via Outlook and syncing)). These will be updated as schedules are finalized.

The following "ICS" files can be imported into any iCalendar-compatible calendaring program. Save yourself the typing by selecting and importing the appropriate file below into your favorite calendar software or phone! For most software such as Outlook and iCal, just download and double-click the file. For web-based calendars like Google or Yahoo, import the files into your calendar using the web interface on those services.

CHANGES TO FEBRUARY SCHEDULE

3 changes to the Youth Academy practices and academies for February:

The Boys Youth Academy scheduled for Sunday 2/5 from 5:45pm-8:00pm has been CANCELED.
The Girls Youth Academy on that same day (2/5) is STILL ON but has been SHORTENED by 15 minutes (3:30pm-5:30pm).
The Boys Tier I practice scheduled at Union College on 2/25 has also been CANCELED.

Change for April (Boys only!):

To make up for the Academy cancellation on 2/5, another *Boys* Youth Academy has been added for SUNDAY April 1, 2012 from 5:45pm-8:00pm.

The downloadable files on the right have been updated to cancel the practices and make the other changes in your calendars. If you reimport the same files, it will remove/modify/add those entries and not duplicate anything else.

Youth Academy Program Description

The Youth Academy is pleased to announce the kick off to its second season. In response to parent feedback, we structured a two tier training plan to allow a choice, depending on your child’s passion and commitment to soccer. This year we are proud to announce the addition of several new coaches, Holly Bisbee, Joe Tibbs, and John Spencer, who will strengthen our already impressive coaching staff. Phil Ridgway, in addition to his coaching duties, will assume a new role supporting the development and delivery of the weekly Academy coaching program.

The administration of the Youth Academy is also strengthened with the designation of Co-Directors of the Youth Academy. Andrew Clinton remains as one of the Directors and Art Scheuermann will step in and work with Andrew as Co-Director who will work together with the Youth Academy Committee, which is comprised of a terrific group of dedicated individuals.

The Youth Academy is structured to provide your son or daughter the best opportunity to develop as soccer players in the best possible positive learning environment. The cost of the Academy remains the best value in the entire Capital Region when one considers the quality of technical and tactical training given.
